1. Who we are

This website belongs to Santhi Batteries, Nagercoil (“we”, “us”). We decide how the details you give us here are used. The website is built and hosted for us by Naztro (NaztroTech Software Solutions), which handles the details only on our instructions.

2. What we collect

When you place an order, ask for help or send a message: your name, mobile number, and what you tell us about your vehicle or inverter (make, model, vehicle number), the address where we should come, a preferred time, and any note you add.

When we fit a battery: the battery’s serial number, the date, the amount paid and how (cash, UPI, card), and the warranty dates.

We do not ask for payment details on this website: you pay at fitting. The website sets a cookie only for shop staff who log in.

3. Why we use it

To call you back, confirm the battery and price, come to you and fit it: that is, to do what you asked for.

To register the warranty with the battery maker and to handle a warranty claim later.

To keep our accounts and meet tax and legal duties.

Now and then, to remind you that a warranty is ending or a battery may be due for a check. Tell us and we will stop.

4. Who sees it

Our own staff, to serve you. The battery maker, when we register a warranty or make a claim (usually the serial number, date, your name and number). Naztro and its hosting and database providers, which store the website and its data for us.

We do not sell your details or share them for anyone else’s marketing. We share them with authorities only when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Order and fitting records are kept for as long as the battery’s warranty runs and for the period our tax and accounting rules require; after that we delete them or keep only what the law asks for. A message or help request that did not lead to a sale is deleted once it is no longer needed, or sooner if you ask.

6. Your choices

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted (we may need to keep a fitted battery’s record while its warranty or accounting period runs). You can withdraw your consent to reminders at any time. To do any of this, visit us at Nagercoil. This is in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

7. Keeping it safe

The website uses HTTPS. Details are stored in a database that keeps each shop’s records separate, and only logged-in staff of this shop can see orders. Your order page is reachable only through its own long, private link: do not share it with people you do not want to see it.
