1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website and order from Santhi Batteries, Nagercoil. By placing an order or sending a request, you accept them.
2. Ordering
An order on this website is a request. It becomes a confirmed order when we call or message you and agree the battery, price and time.
Please give a mobile number we can reach and a correct address. If we cannot reach you, we may cancel the request.
3. Prices and payment
Prices shown include taxes unless stated. Prices can change; the price we confirm with you before fitting is the one you pay. “Price on call” means we tell you the price before we come.
The exchange price applies only when you hand over your old battery of a similar type and size at fitting. If you keep it, the full price applies.
You pay after the battery is fitted, by cash, UPI or card. Home fitting is free within our service area; outside it we tell you any extra charge first.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at no cost before we set out or start fitting: just call or message us. If you cancel when we have already arrived, we may ask for a small visiting charge, which we will tell you about first.
5. Warranty
The warranty on a battery is given by its maker, on the maker’s terms, for the period shown for that battery. “Free replacement” months mean a faulty battery is replaced free; after that, “pro-rata” means you pay part of the price of a replacement, depending on how long it has been used.
We register the warranty when we fit the battery and keep its serial number. For a claim, bring the battery with your bill or the order page. The maker decides each claim after testing the battery. Damage, misuse, a wrong charging system, or a battery used for something other than intended is usually not covered.
6. Our responsibility
We fit batteries with care and test the vehicle or inverter after fitting. We are not responsible for faults in your vehicle or inverter that were there before, or for losses that we could not reasonably foresee. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under Indian law.
7. This website
We try to keep battery details, fitments and prices correct, but mistakes can happen; we will confirm the right battery for your vehicle before fitting. Brand names and logos belong to their owners. Please do not misuse the website, for example by sending false orders.
8. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first: visit us at Nagercoil. Any dispute that cannot be settled will be handled by the courts at Nagercoil.
